CO-FINANCED PROJECTS

METREGEN

Metrology on a cellular and macromolecular scale for regenerative medicine. This is a multi-competences project (Industries / Universities / Research Centres) aimed to establish a new research area at international level, the metrology in nano-medicine, in particular in regenerative medicine, which is a convergent sector with nano-technology and bio-technology.

Grant: CIPE 2007- Converging Technologies

AUDAX

Automation of a Device based on APEX technology. The aim of the project is the automated process for biological liquids preparation on Lab-on-a-Chip by polymeric micro-fluidics. This platform will use APEX (Arrayed Primer Extension) technology for DNA detection using a dedicated optical set-up.

Grant: FP7, MANUNET ERA-Net, Transnational Call 2008

HOLAP

Study of the optimal laser source and set-up for pattern generation at micro scale in order to generate optical diffractive effects. This revolutionary laser system can be used in two different ways: a) to fabricate patterns directly onto the master roller for embossing printing used in industrial packaging, particularly for foodstuffs products; b) direct writing of micro-datamatrix and holograms in order to track the element and to make it safe by means of the most advanced anti-counterfeit technologies.

Grant: FP7, MANUNET ERA-Net, Transnational Call 2009

MICRO-BIOFAB

Micro-factory for biodevices and their assembly. The aim of the project is an automated platform for Pt wire laser cutting and placing on coronary stents.

Grant: POR-FESR Asse I, Innovazione e transizione produttiva, I.1.3 Innovazione e P.M.I., Aiuti ai soggetti aggregati ai poli di innovazione

CANESTRO

The goal of this project is the design and fabrication of a measurement system for biological analysis “disposable” Lab-On-a-Chip (LOC) based. The measurement set-up will be designed in strict synergy with academicals partner and the laser source will be the core of the read-out system.

Grant: POR-FESR Asse I, Innovazione e transizione produttiva, I.1.3 Innovazione e P.M.I., Aiuti ai soggetti aggregati ai poli di innovazione

INDUSTRIA 2015

Design and development of a sensors family based on electro-optical devices in order to detect many heavy metals in drinkable water.

Grant: Ministero dello Sviluppo Economico

LED

High efficiency LED lamps for outdoor applications.

Grant: Ministero dell’Ambiente e della Tutela del Territorio e del Mare.
