Within the frame of a joint work with Politecnico di Torino, Microla Optoelectronics has developed a system for the optical detection of cantilevers, by exploiting a laser as lighting source. The working area of the system is 15 x 8 mm2, with automatic motion of both the laser and the detector. The distance between the laser and the sample can be manually regulated through micrometric slit. The following scheme shows the system’s layout:
